What does digital education look like in practice?

For GenerationDigital!, a project implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, EYES-OPEN designed the interactive digital publication Digital Solutions for Education in Africa. The storybook brings together projects from partner countries and shows how digital skills are becoming part of education across Africa.

From complex content to a clear visual system

EYES-OPEN translated extensive project stories, facts and background information into a bold and accessible visual language. Dynamic typography, vibrant colours, icons, information graphics and flexible layouts help structure the content and make key information more accessible.

More than a static publication

Rather than creating a static publication, EYES-OPEN developed the storybook as an interactive reading experience. Clickable navigation, an interactive map and visual feedback guide readers through chapters and country projects, combining editorial design with intuitive digital use.
